Hello! We are Brittany Niemi Rescues (BNR) - a local private home cat rescue that offers vulnerable cats and kittens in the Regina and surrounding area, sanctuary and second chances. We work hard to make a difference in the staggering overpopulation issue of our city, with the firm belief that every cat and kitten life matters and while we can't save them all, together we can save so many!

Operating out of pocket has brought our rescue efforts to a standstill as our current rescue debt (debts specifically accrued from rescue such as: veterinary costs for vaccinations, spays/neuters, emergency illness or injury care and treatment, food and litter supplies etc), has surpassed $30,000. As a one-woman operation, we do not qualify for government funding or assistance.

In the last couple years, we have faced many challenging situations within our rescue that have set our efforts back but we have so much work left to do and so many more lives to save. We are financially transparent with our veterinary invoices available to anyone who requests proof of costs and we accept donations in several different ways to accommodate what donors are most comfortable with.

Contributing towards resolving our rescue debt directly impacts our ability to stay operational as a rescue and is the difference between being able to accept or having to deny the next request for assistance for a life in need. Every penny we receive from donors goes directly to the costs associated with running a rescue.

We have saved many deserving souls that were otherwise abandoned, abused, neglected and forgotten by the world and with your help, we will be here to open our heart and home to the next cat or kitten depending on us!
