Help Katie go to Costa Rica!

Hi! My name is Katie Newnham and I am fundraising to go to Costa Rica with my fifth grade class next summer. We go to a Spanish immersion school, and for most of us this is our sixth year in a full immersion school. While we are there we will stay with a host family for the first seven days. During that time we will go to school for two days, do comunity service work, and work on a plantation for one day. For the last seven days we will travel across Costa Rica via bus, doing more touristy stuff such as ziplining, rafting, surfing and so much more!
This trip is really important to me because I would like to practice all the Spanish I've learned in a more challenging setting and immerse myself in Latin American culture and spend time with my close friends before we split up into different middle schools.
I have already earned enough money and paid the first deposit to save my spot on the trip. I am hoping to get to roughly $900 dollars in the next month because we need to pay airfare soon, the rest of the money will need to be paid in a few months for things such as hotel rooms, the bus, the tour guide, food, etc.
I'm working hard to help raise the money for this trip. Donations are very appreciated, but here are some other ways you can help me:
*I'm collecting cans and bottles to recycle! If you have any you can spare and would be willing to save them for me, we'll come pick them up or arrange a time to meet!
*I'm doing jobs! If you have some work you need done that you think I could help with, let me know! I work hard and for whatever you think is fair. (My mom and dad say to remind you I'm only 10, almost 11, but I think I can do a lot of jobs so lets talk!)
*We are doing lots of fundrasiers! Our current one is that we are selling t-shirt sponsorships. The way this works is that if you have a business or know a business that might like to help sponsor our trip, let me know! The business logo goes on the t-shirts for our group that we will be wearing at our fundraisers for the rest of the year and on the trip, and 100% of the money from sponsorships I find goes directly into my account to help pay for my trip! This is a super good chance for me to raise money, so if you can think of anyone I should ask or have ideas I'd love to hear them. I will have information about the sponsorship levels for this soon, and will post here.
*I'll post our other fundraisers in the updates, so if you can share them as they happen that would be great too!
