Our hearts are broken to share that our sweet friend is facing breast cancer again.
After bravely fighting through it once before, she now has to prepare for another incredibly difficult journey — 2-5 weeks of radiation every day followed by six months of chemotherapy.
Her first battle with cancer was incredibly difficult. Chemo hit her hard, leading to multiple hospitalizations. She also had a double mastectomy and complications during recovery. Knowing how much she endured makes this road ahead feel especially frightening — but if there’s one thing we know, it’s that she is resilient beyond words.
She is one of the strongest people we know, but strength doesn’t make this easier. This time around, there is fear, exhaustion, and uncertainty — not just for her, but for all of us who love her deeply. We are terrified of seeing her suffer again, yet inspired by the courage she continues to show in the face of something so unfair. She is truly the funniest person we know, with an infectious personality that brings laughter even on the hardest days. That light hasn’t gone anywhere.
We’re starting this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden that comes with ongoing cancer treatment — medical bills, hospital stays, medications, time away from work, and the countless expenses that pile up during a fight like this. Our hope is to allow her to focus on what truly matters: healing, resting, and getting through each day.
If you’re able to donate, share, or simply keep her in your thoughts and prayers, it means more than words can say. Thank you for standing with her — and with all of us — as we walk this frightening road together.
