Help Joe and Hanh Bach save Lotus Restaurant
Hi, my name is Felix Pesce and I am trying to help the owners of Lotus Restaurant fully reopen their business. Joe and Hanh Bach moved to the US from Vietnam in 1975 to escape communist oppression. They became American citizens and opened Lotus Restaurant in 1981. They have four sons who grew up working in the restaurant. For 40 years they have worked extremely hard to serve high quality, freshly made Vietnamese food and have quite a loyal following. When Covid hit in 2020 their restaurant went from indoor dining to takeout only. Part of the great Lotus experience is eating in the family like atmosphere. Their income was greatly reduced as a result and repair needs were piling up faster than they could keep up with. They are still not open for indoor dining because of a variety of issues, from roof replacement, to plumbing problems, and termite damage in the walls. These repairs will force them to close for a number of weeks which will lead to more lost income. Not being able to open their dining room for business has greatly reduced their income and they are sinking. They are two of the most generous, hardworking couples I know and they would be extremely grateful for any help you could give. Thank you!
