Help Joe and Christina After Fire Tragedy
Donation protected
Tuesday morning, our dear neighbors, Joe and Christina, along with their two children, lost everything in a devastating garage fire. Their home was a total loss, leaving their family of four displaced with only the clothes on their backs. What started as a garage fire ended with their house filled with smoke and the tragic loss of their beloved dog. This unimaginable tragedy has turned their world upside down, and they need our help to get back on their feet.
Joe and Christina have been an integral part of our community. Joe, a Reading Intervention Teacher at Ocean Knoll Elementary, is a safe and familiar face around the school. Christina, a Family Nurse Practitioner at Rady Children's Hospital has dedicated her career to caring for families all over San Diego. Their children, Luca and Rosie are loved among teachers and peers at school.
There have been so many asking how they can help, so we have started this GoFundMe page so that the family can purchase the necessary items, clothing, and put money toward vet expenses while their kitty remains at the hospital. All the donations will go directly to the Killian-Benigno Family.
