Help Jim beat cancer like a boss!

March 16th 2017 at only 42 years old, my big brother Jim, who has lived a clean lifestyle all his life, was diagnosed with stage 3 Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. NHL is a cancer that originates in your lymphatic system. Good news, this cancer is treatable and given his health, age, and fierce determination, we are confident that he will beat this! His hemogoblin needs checking often because he also suffers from hemolytic anemia. The red blood cells he produces dies quicker than it's being produced which has required multiple blood transfusions on different occasions.
April 21, 2017 he was admitted to ER for labored breathing and inflammation found in his lungs. He was suffering from pneumonia and pneumonitis caused by one of the chemo drugs. He was intubated for 3 days in ICU and confined for 2 weeks. He is currently home resting, recovering, and regaining his manly appetite. His treatment plan is chemo therapy followed by blood tranfusions as needed. Three chemo sessions left out of 6 to go.
Unable to work, Jim has been on medical leave since his first hospitalization in March. His wife Melissa works significantly less hours at work just to tend to her husband's needs. Anyone that knows them, knows very well of the giving hearts these two have for everyone else. I would just love to see them at the receiving end for once. My brother, under no circumstances is the kind to ask for help, but we know he cannot do this alone. Between hospital, doctor bills, medications, and household expenses it's near impossible to focus on his health while he is worrying about finances. I've decided to start a fund to help with medical expenses because his main priorty should be focused on kicking some serious cancer booty! Thank you in advance for the love, support, encouragement and prayers. Everyday is a victory Jim! We are with you all the way!
