Hello friends and family, as many of you may know I've had a serious infection in my mouth for the past three years. I was just told by a very reputable oral surgeon that I have a cyst (and infected tract) in the form of a hole, due to significant bone loss, after having been misdiagnosed with a fistula. Extraction of the tooth alone will not stop the infection and its spread, which will lead to more infections, bone loss and possibly sepsis. At this stage I need the cyst and tract removed by a skilled oral surgeon in addition to a bone graft and extraction. I need 2,700 to secure the appointment. The total surgery will cost me over 6,000, which I will pay off over the course of 3 months. I need your help raising just enough to book the appointment for surgery. Due to the severity of the infection the surgeon says that I need to have this procedure done as soon as possible. Your help would mean so much to me and would literally be life saving. Due to the inefficiencies and dysfunction of Medicaid insurance I have not been able to get adequate care, and though an extraction by my general Dentist is covered, my oral surgeon believes that the cyst and tooth must be removed by oral surgery as soon as possible.
