Help Izzy & Children Find New Home

As some may know, I am a parent to two children, one of whom is mentally and physically disabled. A majority of my time is spent caring for the two of them, as I am their primary caregiver. Their father and I have been divorced since 2021, but have continued living together due to my current financial situation.

On top of being a parent, I am also a full-time student. I am enrolled in a community college to get my Associate’s in Nursing (ADN). I also work part-time as a barista at a local coffee shop, but I’m searching for new opportunities while I continue my education for my future career.

I have nearly completed my degree, but due to circumstances regarding the mental and physical well-being of my children and myself, I need to move to a new apartment with new costs. While balancing work, school, and parenting, my current living situation has become increasingly inhospitable. I am taking the initiative to exit these circumstances by finding an apartment or Section 8 housing that can accommodate me and my children. Unfortunately, due to the length of waitlists for the latter, it could take years to achieve, so that is why I need your help. Donations, art commissions, or simply sharing this fundraiser are all greatly appreciated. I will be saving as much money as possible to afford housing for my family.
