Hi everyone. I never thought I’d have to make one of these, but I’m reaching out because my dog, Hermes, needs medical care that has become more than I can handle alone.

Hermes recently developed a new tumor near his hip, and after having it examined, the vet recommended surgical removal and an oncology consult. The concern isn’t just the tumor itself, but its location and the lack of clear margins around it. We want to make sure we have it removed safely and that we understand whether it’s something we need to keep monitoring long-term.

Hermes is my best friend. He has been with me through every major part of my life, and anyone who knows him knows he’s the sweetest, most gentle dog. He loves everyone, and he’s always been so patient and trusting. I want to give him the absolute best chance at a long, healthy, comfortable life.

The costs for the oncology consult, imaging, surgery, and follow-up care are estimated to be around $4,500. All funds raised will go directly toward his medical care and recovery.
