Hi, my name is Maria, I am a volunteer at 'Cataholics Newmarket', a small association that helps cats in need.

A few months ago we were called by a lady to help a stray cat in Cambridge. Kitty, as she called him, or Herbert, as a neighbour called him, was taken to the vet, chipped, neutered. The vet said he was a rather old cat, who probably spent most of his life on the street, judging by his condition. Then we found a lovely girl for him: finally, he has a forever family and a safe and welcoming home.

But he also needed an operation to remove one eye. He had surgery and is fine now! The cost of the surgery was around £ 1500. So if you can help this girl, even with a little help, it would be greatly appreciated.
