Help our puppy, Dennis Murphy

Over the last three days our dear puppy, Dennis Murphy’s health has declined rapidly. From what started as ‘a little disinterested in his food’ developed into a high fever, weakness and being admitted into the ICU at Dove Lewis, Portland. His blood work revealed ‘unclassified’ cells and elevation in his liver suggesting he ingested something toxic but the vets are not sure.

Forest and I are distraught. We love our pup so much and have gone great lengths to care for him with regular check ups, vaccinations, training and socialization. We have pet insurance but our total annual amount is $5000. We will be exceeding that amount after today’s care in the ICU. We are asking our communities for any amount that you are willing to give, we don’t want to see our Dennis die because of money but that is certainly a possibility at this stage.

I ask with a broken heart to help our pup Dennis.
