Help Harding Cafe Recover from Burglary

This is Curtis & Andrew-Owners of The Scent Queens Candle Company & It's Lit Studio Yoga + Fitness.

Our hearts are completely shattered.

Late last night, someone broke into our dear friends’ small business, Harding Cafe. The burglars smashed through and stole their entire cash register. The damage left behind is both physical and deeply emotional as we can't even imagine what this must feel like, but so many of our small businesses in our community are getting hit and enough is enough!

Harding Cafe and their family are more than small business owners. They are part of the soul of this neighborhood. They’re the ones who greet you by name, remember your favorite order (even make custom dishes if you ask), and make everyone feel welcome. They’ve been huge supporters of us at The Scent Queens, cheering us on through thick and thin, always showing up to shop, spread the word and lift us up when we needed it most. So we want to repay that favor and set this up for them!

We can’t let them face this alone.

This fundraiser is our way of fighting back with love. Every dollar we raise will go directly to Harding Cafe and their family to help with whatever insurance may not cover and to help with:

Replace the stolen funds so they can keep their business running

Repair the damage to doors, windows and equipment

Cover any income lost while they’re forced to close for repairs

Invest in any security features they need so this never happens again

We want Harding Cafe to know, beyond any doubt, that community means we take care of each other. Let’s help them reopen their doors and keep sharing their warmth and kindness with all of us.
