Help Gordita Come Home to Canada

Many of you know that a few months ago, a little puppy named Gordita found her way into my life in the most unexpected way. She was rescued from the jungle here in Mexico, badly injured with a broken pelvis that required immediate orthopedic surgery. With the help of a caring veterinary team, Gordy not only survived but began to thrive and somewhere along the way, she rescued me just as much as I rescued her.

Since then, she’s become a beloved part of my family. Her spirit is pure joy, playful, resilient, and full of love, a true little warrior who reminds me daily of the power of healing and second chances.

Now, as I prepare to return home to Canada in mid-October, my dream is to bring Gordita with me so she can join our family there and begin her new chapter surrounded by love, care, and stability.

But the truth is, the costs are overwhelming. Between her medical bills, the ongoing care she needs, and the expenses of an international move, I’ve stretched my resources thin. Boarding her in a safe kennel that can provide the care, attention, and training she needs until we’re reunited in Canada is the next step, and this is where I’m humbly asking for your support.

Every contribution, big or small, will go directly toward covering her boarding, training, and safe transport to Canada. Together, we can ensure this little jungle pup makes it all the way home.
