A Warrior, a Mother, a Light to All Who Knew Her

Hello, dear friends and family,

My name is Amelia Quinones, and with a heart full of sorrow, I share the sudden and devastating loss of my beloved mother, Gina Baldassari-Quinones.

My mother was one of the strongest, most resilient women I have ever known. She faced enormous health challenges throughout her life…surviving two brain tumors, enduring three back surgeries, and living daily with chronic pain from spinal stenosis, sciatica, and vein damage. Despite it all, she carried herself with incredible grace, courage, and gratitude. She never let pain steal her joy. She never stopped smiling. She never stopped loving.

Gina was a true fashionista, a radiant soul who lit up every room she entered. She had an infectious laugh, a heart full of compassion, and a strength that inspired everyone around her. She was the glue that held our family together…the one with all the answers, the one who made every hard moment feel easier just by being there. To me, she was more than a mother. She was my best friend, my anchor, my everything.

She was also a devoted wife, a loving daughter, a cherished sister, cousin, aunt (“Titi”), and a loyal friend to so many. She gave everyone around her a sense of comfort, love, and belonging. Her life was a testimony of perseverance, positivity, and unconditional love. She lived, laughed, and loved deeply…and she left an unforgettable mark on every soul she touched.

Her passing has left a void that words cannot fill. My father and I are heartbroken, navigating life without her strength and presence. In this time of grief, we are also facing unexpected financial burdens related to her funeral and memorial services. We want to honor her with the beautiful farewell she so deeply deserves, and we are humbly reaching out for help.

We are in need of $2,650 to cover the remaining costs. Any donation…no matter how small will make a difference and will help us give her the goodbye that reflects the love, beauty, and dignity she brought into this world.
