We’re urgently fundraising to give our beautiful Bella more time with us. Bella is just 23 years old, and after 6 weeks in hospital in December 2025 for pain in her abdomen - which was continually dismissed as fibroids - we received the shocking news she has a very rare form of cancer called spindle cell sarcoma.

In July this year she had a total hysterectomy, after which we had the news she was cancer free. But in September 2026 after routine checks she received the devastating and shocking news cancer has now started growing in her lungs. Without another effective treatment her time could be heartbreakingly short - potentially just months or weeks.

There are no words to describe what it feels like to hear that about someone you love so much. It is terrifying, devastating and desperately unfair.

Bella is only 23. She has so much love to give, so much life she wants to live, and a future she has only just begun to imagine with her fiancé, Ben.

We are not ready to lose her. And we are not ready to give up fighting for more time.

The heartbreaking obstacle is that the treatment cannot currently be funded for Bella on the NHS, meaning we have to try to pay for it entirely ourselves.

We will do anything for our Bella, but the cost is beyond anything we can manage alone. Bella’s previous treatment cost approximately £14,000 for just 56 tablets. Costs on this scale are impossible for an ordinary family to meet without help.

We are facing a race against time, trying to find a way to access treatment that could give Bella another chance.

And that is why we are asking for your help.

Who is Bella

Those who know Bella know her for her absolutely wicked sense of humour. She has that ability to make people laugh, even when life is incredibly hard. She is loved more than words can ever explain.

Bella is a budding photographer, a loved daughter, a little sister to her 3 siblings, a niece, a cousin, granddaughter, and fiancé to the love of her life, Ben.

Through surgery, treatment, fear and everything this awful disease has thrown at her, she is still our Bella.

She is still the person who makes us smile. Still the person we want to see happy.

At 23, she should be planning her wedding, dreaming about her future and looking forward to everything life has waiting for her. She shouldn’t be fighting for her life. But this is the heartbreaking reality for our beautiful Bella.

How your funding will help

Bella’s medical team is hoping to treat her with another targeted cancer medication called entrectinib that could shrink the sarcoma, reduce her symptoms, and give her more time with us.

We know there are no guarantees.

We know it may not work.

We would never want to give anyone false hope.

But when a treatment may offer a chance, and time is so precious, how can we not try?

We desperately want Bella to have that opportunity.

The NHS will not fund this medication, meaning we have to pay ourselves.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help us work towards funding Bella’s treatment and giving her the opportunity to try entrectinib.
