Help Gideon Pearson and Family!

Hi I'm Chad Pearson father of Gideon & Kida Pearson, Sean Reisinger and Husband to Katie Pearson.

We want to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and well wishes for Gideon . Now it’s time to help the Pearson Family more than ever.

Gideon was born 2 years ago today, he was diagnosed with Spina Bifida called Myelomeningocele with Chiarii II malformation. Unfortunately, it has lead to many complications of life for him. As most of you know he had surgery to correct his condition when he was hours old and then had a shunt placed when he was a couple of weeks old. He was in the NICU for several weeks with medical bills piling on for him and his stay. While also his little twin sister was in NICU being a Premie baby. During the 1st year of there life we tried to balance a great work and home life with them. But with Covid and being able to make it all his appointments at Child Hospital it was tough for us all. Katie ended up losing her job because of miss time for appts and postpartum depression that she held to herself much of the time. While I myself also lost my job at the time too. With 2021 we both started new jobs but halfway threw the year Katie depression got worse and she attempted to commit suicide while she is getting better each day she still is fighting her depression. She hasn't been able to work for quite sometime and bills keep coming in for everything. We have applied for assistance and have been denied multiple times. We need help with items for our family. Gideon is now getting to age that he needs a wheelchair to be able to get around. While insurance will pay for 80% we still have to come up with the rest to be able to help our little guy be mobile. He also is getting AFO's braces to help him stand (He's already broken right tibia ) and possible walk one day insurance is the same will only help with some much. As much as I myself want to do it all on my own I'm not able to, It takes a village and community to raise our next generation and bills are piling on. I have been keeping the family afloat on my own but now bills for our home while also car repairs are adding up that we cannot pay for while also trying to make sure Gideon and Katie get the best care they need.
