Help Gehrig's Mom through this tough time

This fundraiser is in the memory of a great friend to everyone , Gehrig Hamelburg. Gehrig passed away suddenly at the age of 37 on September 11. While this is a shock and toll on all of us that knew him, all of our thoughts should be with his Mom, Karen, at this time. Nobody should have to endure what she is going through right now, and while we can't bring Gehrig back the least we can do is try to help out his mom with expenses that are sure to pop up in his absence. Gehrig and his mom had a great relationship and I know that helping her out during this time would make Gehrig a little more peaceful if he was here. He was a selfless person who always thought of others before himself and now we need to come together to think of his family at this time.

I hope this can bring some help to his mom but more than anything I hope doing this helps her to realize what a great son she had and how loved he was by everyone.
