Help For Norm & Lizanne Roy

Hello, this gofundme's goal is to help provide support for Norm & Lizanne as Norm begins radiation and chemotherapy, along with Liz having surgery on her elbow.

On June 2nd, Norm had extensive surgery to remove 80 lymph nodes, cancer around his jaw, and more. Since then he was told he needs chemo and radiation to treat the rest of the cancer that has spread. Liz has been taking care of him while also being in pain and waiting for her own surgery. Both of them have been unable to work.

While dealing with all of this, they were hit with another financial blow! They had disability insurance on their mortgage and loan but were denied disability due to a pre-existing condition that Norm has, unrelated to the cancer. They are getting much less from Norm's short & long term disability than they expected. Liz gets long term disability, but it isn't much. Now they have been informed they need to begin paying for their benefits which is almost $400 a month.

These incredibly kind and generous people need some support. They have gone through so much with all of this. Liz is very proud and doesn't want to ask for help. I think she deserves to be able to help Norm heal, and heal herself, without stressing about their finances. If any of you can contribute, anything would be greatly appreciated. I put $5,000 as a goal, while not really knowing what amount to put.
