As you may or may not know, our dear friend and colleague Kim Taylor from the cardiology APP group, is out of work on medical leave due to a complication of her pregnancy. She is currently 22 weeks along and unfortunately, she has to remain at home on bedrest for the foreseeable future. She has been out of work for about a month now and using her personal earned /vacation/sick time. She has nearly exhausted all of her hours at this point and will be starting her FMLA early.
This is also an exciting but stressful time for Kim as she and her husband are also purchasing their first home in 2 weeks. We know that it will be difficult to move with her on bedrest and limited family around for help. We want to try and raise some money for her during this time to help alleviate some of the financial burden of being out of work for such an extended period of time and to help offset some of the costs of hiring movers.
