Help for Coddington Family after son’s car crash

Donation protected
On his way home from his best friend’s house, Max Coddington suffered serious injuries in a horrific car accident. The crash sent his car sideways and up into a spiral, which then flipped and sent the car through the guardrail and into the ditch; at that point, his leg was severed. Max was in the ICU for many days and has undergone multiple surgeries, with many more needed. This event has been a very traumatic experience. He transitioned to a specialized institute for amputees for continued surgeries and recovery and then will need to move to rehabilitation facilities for long-term care. Max is ready to move forward, and his will to live is strong, “‘No. This isn’t going to be it. I’m going to get out of here, and if I can do this, I can do anything”. And that’s the attitude he’s holding on to. It is miraculous Max survived. He has a long road ahead, including rehab, learning to walk, career change and home modifications
About Creator of Fundraiser:
We are Jeff and Michele Coddington, the parents of Max Coddington and had so many generous individuals reaching out to ask how they could help and requested we set up Go Fund Me page. Max is a 23-year-old and was beginning his career as an electrician; he has an adorable young daughter who lives in a bordering state. Life was taking off. He will likely need to switch careers and leave his current job due to the longevity of rehabilitation and is currently on unpaid leave.

TO DONATORS:
Our goal is to alleviate the financial burden for medical costs, time off of work, residence in his rehabilitation facility for long-term care, his future prosthetics as well as alterations to his home to accommodate his newly handicapped physical needs.  We are asking our dear friends and family for support during this difficult time, any contribution to help Max’s journey would be greatly appreciated.
