Hello everyone,

I am reaching out during one of the most challenging times in my life. I am a Altadena, Ca resident and have lived in Altadena majority of my life. The Eaton Fire devastated our community, and I am one of many who have been displaced as a result. My home was directly impacted—one of my families home burned to the ground, while the other survived with property damage but is uninhabitable due to the extensive damage and unsafe conditions in the area. Unfortunately, it may take a year or more before it’s livable again. I was skeptical about creating a Go Fund me because not everything was lost/burned, but with the circumstances of not being able to move back to Altadena for a long period of time I finally came to the realization that I will need extra assistance.

To make matters more difficult, I was laid off in September & just received a job offer right after the fire broke out. In the meantime, I’ve been moving from hotel to hotel, trying to find a stable, affordable place to stay while I navigate these uncertain times.

I am asking for support to help cover the cost of temporary housing, daily living expenses, and the effort to secure a long-term home for the next year. Any amount you can contribute would mean the world to me as I rebuild and move forward. If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign with others would also be a tremendous help.
