Hello, my name is Maxime Cote-Lapierre, and I live in Canada. I'm organizing this fundraiser to directly support a Palestinian family who is experiencing unimaginable hardship due to the ongoing war in Gaza.
I was first contacted by a woman named Safaa, who was fundraising for her own family. Through continued conversations, we've built a bond of trust and friendship. At her request, I'm now helping raise funds for her relatives - the Saleh family - who have been displaced and are struggling to survive.
In Neveen's words:
"I am Nevin Saleh, wife of Emad Saleh, who is a prisoner of the occupation army. I have twin children, Muhammad and Yusra, who are four years old. We were displaced from Rafah to the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, living in a tent. During a time of famine, my husband went to seek aid to provide flour and food for my children, but he never returned. He was captured by the occupation army. I am alone with my children in a tent on the street where we live. One night, a tent next to ours was bombed, and I was injured, along with my daughter Yusra. Yusra's teeth were knocked out, and she can no longer speak like other children. She needs urgent surgery. I am constantly worried about how to provide them with food and other necessities like clothes. Please help me and my children."
Little Yusra has had her surgery in early February 2026, thanks to this campaign, and is recovering well. Nevin and her children still need your support to be able to live a decent life.
100% of donations go directly to the Saleh family via secure e-transfer. Your contribution will provide:
- Emergency food and nutrition
- Medical care for Nevin and the children
- Hygiene and sanitation supplies
- Shelter materials and basic living needs
- Long-term support to rebuild a stable, dignified life
The Saleh family is one of thousands who have lost everything - but they are reaching out with hope. Your support can be the difference between despair and survival for them. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings direct, immediate help.
Please give what you can, and share this campaign.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
