Help Eden compete at the World Championships

Hello, I am Eden Scantlebury-Watson, an autistic 17-year old from North East England.

I began powerlifting in late 2022. I enjoyed the physical and mental challenges of the sport, and my progress, together with the support from the community, helped me become a more outgoing and confident person. I owe this sport and its community so much.

I entered my first raw competition in March 2023 and recently switched to equipped powerlifting, a more challenging and extreme side of the sport, where the body is pushed beyond its usual limits using supportive equipment, entering my first equipped competition in October 2023. Having since competed at the British Equipped Powerlifting Championships, and been selected to represent Team GBR at the European Equipped Powerlifting Championships in Luxembourg, placing 3rd overall. This momentous achievement earned myself a spot on the team for the World Equipped Junior Powerlifting Championships in Malta.

The Championships are due to take place from August 27th-31st. Because I am still in full-time further education - I am struggling to find the money to cover my travel, accommodation, and other fees. If you are a sponsor I would be elated to hear from you!
