Supporting Echo and her family

March 2022 update:

I know most haven’t gotten the updates that you wanted at all and to be completely honest it’s hard to know how Echo is doing without seeing her for yourself. These past months have been hard for us kids, Nick, and the people who are supporting around us. We way have ignored messages and support, isolating ourselves through a lot of this and we apologize. Echo has been back home since December, a week or two before Christmas. The only way for her to get home was if she could eat on her own and she did just that. Echo continues to set goals for herself, such as needing less assistance, starting up crocheting again with her nurse, practicing stretches and rehabilitation. Since being home she has made an unbelievable amount of improvements with help from Nick, speech therapy, and her at home nurse. Echo hasn’t stopped improving since the day she woke up. She wanted out of the hospitals and she tried hard to get physically strong enough to be able to be home again, and now with her at home she continues to push herself. Echo has always been independent and that still shows in her, she enjoys all the help and patience we give her but she likes to do things on her own and she strives for that daily. We know and hope that Echo will continue on her healing path and make a great recovery through the years.

September 2021 update:

I know most of you have had no updates since this original GoFundMe post. Unfortunately there isn’t much of an update on Echo. Since Echos motorcycle accident in July she had been in the hospital ICU unconscious. Echo is still unconscious but has become more responsive and aware and therefore the hospital moved her from the ICU to a nursing home in august. She will be here until they have seen more improvements and she is able to breathe on her own. Once this happens then they’ll move her again and start the brain rehabilitation process. To lighten up this read Echo was breathing on her own for two days recently and we hope that continues to improve and she can get off the ventilator. She moves around, chews on all her tubes that she’ll take out herself, she opens her eyes and according to the nurses will follow their voices around the room. All of these improvements may seem little but they are so big considering her situation in the beginning. We are so proud of her progress and pray everyday she continues to make that. It’s been a long 2 months and we want all of you to know how extremely grateful we are of the help everyone has offered. We have gotten messages, groceries, school supplies, and all of your donations. We are forever appreciative for all your support. Thank you.

July 2021:

If this is the way you’re finding out about Echo’s accident I’m so very sorry. Last Sunday July 11th 2021, Echo and her boyfriend Nick were in a bad motorcycle accident. Taking on many traumatic injuries including a serious brain injury. She is staying in the ICU and this is only the beginning. We aren’t sure what’s to come but that Echo needs time to heal. Echo has gotten a blessing from the Mormon church and all we can do is pray. She has made such surprising progress to all the doctors and nurses in this past week.

This isn’t going to be easy or a quick process. We are hoping to raise money for her medical care and her boyfriend and 4 kids living expenses at home. We can not express our gratitude enough to anyone who offers any type of support or help. Echo’s work ‘All seasons sports bar’ has been doing fundraising for her with game nights and other activities if anyone is interested in any of these events please look at there Facebook page to see of any new ones.

This is a hard time for all of us and we know information is wanted but we are exhausted and trying our best. Please respect our privacy right now, and we will update everyone as we find out more and are comfortable with sharing. If you fail to respect us and our wishes we will avoid updating you about Echo. Please keep our mom in your prayers. We whole heartedly thank everyone who is supporting us right now. The help we have already gotten is completely overwhelming and we are so appreciative.

This is Echo’s only active donating link. We ask if you can please share this link around, it would help us so much.
