Help Cover Legal Fees for Cartoonist Rachel Lindsay

Hi neighbors and friends,

I need to cover $1,000 in legal fees related to a criminal misdemeanor charge against me due to my accident. At the time of my accident, where my car flipped over 89 and I survived with no injuries, I was off my meds as a result of my place of work locking me in a room to be reprimanded for a cash handling error that happened after I was harassed by a man with a knife in the store -- "YOU IGNORANT BITCH!!!"

I have more legal fees than a typical job for a public defender because of the complexity of how my illness fed into the circumstances.

Please help me cover these legal fees if you are able.
