Help Chloe Volunteer in Morocco

Hello Everyone,
My name is Chloe and I am a medical and molecular biology major with a minor in public health on the pre-med track at MCPHS in Boston. I am going to Morocco in April of this year to help local communities access healthcare and shadow doctors in clinics in a different part of the world. Here is what I will be doing as a participant in Volunteer Morocco. “…journey to northern Africa to experience the ways in which urban and rural healthcare is practiced in an international setting. Volunteer Morocco has an established relationship with the Moroccan Ministry of Health as well as hospitals and communities around Agadir. Participants have the chance to observe and assist Moroccan medical professionals in health clinics, participate in projects at local schools and villages as well as experience sight-seeing excursions and engage in cultural exploration.” This experience will help me broaden my knowledge and understanding of how different cultures practice and access healthcare and will help me connect with my future patients in positive ways.
