When Charlie first came into my life, I didn’t know how much I would come to love him. What started as fostering a relinquished dog, let go of by his family because of his allergies and anxiety, became adopting my first pup. Almost four years later, I can’t imagine my life without my furry son.

At first, his allergy symptoms were manageable due to financial assistance from his rescue and later on, my full time job. However, with his age, his allergies have gotten worse. As a full time graduate student, I have no source of income for his huge medical bills. His vet provided me with a possible solution for his lifetime illnesses- immunotherapy. Unfortunately, the cost is not something I could afford on my own. I have turned to fundraising to be able to afford care for my precious boy. He experiences rashes, flaky skin, chronic itch, and boogery eyes to the point he can barely see.
