Hi! My name is Chai, and my life depends on this surgery.
I was born with a heart defect called PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosus). It means a vessel in my heart that should have closed when I was born never did. Because of that, my heart is growing larger and weaker every day, working far harder than it should just to keep me alive.
On the outside, I still wag my tail. I still try to run. I still try to keep up with my sister. But inside, my heart is struggling. Without surgery, I won’t get better. I won’t grow old. I won’t live the long, happy life every dog deserves.
This surgery isn’t optional. It’s lifesaving. Waiting makes it more dangerous. Without it, my condition will continue to steal my energy, my ability to play, and eventually my life.
My family loves me deeply, but the cost of heart surgery is more than they can manage alone. That’s why they’re asking for help. Every donation goes directly toward saving my life and giving me the chance to run freely, breathe easily, and stay with the people who love me.
If you can give, you are helping save my heart.
If you can share, you are helping spread hope.
If you believe animals deserve a fighting chance, this is mine.
Thank you for reading my story and for helping me stay here.
