My name is Mackenzie and Cannoli is my sweetest little craziest Frenchie. She just turned two last week and was unfortunately admitted to the emergency vet over the weekend. She became paralyzed and was in excruciating pain, barely making it overnight in their ICU. We learned through an MRI that she had three explosive herniated discs and congenital spinal stenosis. Once through the surgery, she’s still paralyzed in her hind legs but has some feeling in her toes! Eventually, she may be able to walk in 6-8 weeks; however, she will be on bed rest and needs rounds of meds, new puppy ramps, and a puppy stroller/cart. Unfortunately, she is also incontinent for the time being, so puppy pads and cleaning supplies will also add up. With the medical bills already approaching $18,000, anything will help for her long-term recovery!
