Help Camina Family: Lost Everything in Maui Fire

Donation protected
On August 8th, the devastating wildfire that ravaged Maui completely destroyed my cousin Michelle Camina’s home in the (now) obliterated town of Lāhainā, HI. With only minutes to evacuate, she grabbed her visiting son Kai (21), ID, cell phone, car keys, and a few irreplaceable family heirlooms before having to race out the door to safety.

Fortunately, she and her son are safe and uninjured. However, she lost almost everything she owned and now faces the grim and overwhelming task of rebuilding her life from scratch. That includes replacing essential items you and I take for granted like medication, toiletries and other bathroom essentials, clothes, and so on, as soon as possible.

I sincerely ask you to join me and the rest of the Camina family in providing Michelle with the support she urgently needs to recover from this unfathomable tragedy. No matter the amount, your donation will be GREATLY appreciated and I promise that all the money raised will be sent directly to her.

A Maui resident of 34 years, Michelle was a property manager and took care of high-end vacation rentals in the area, in addition to being a personal trainer, fitness competitor, and founder of “Fitness Hawaii with Michelle”. Being a personal trainer allowed her to fulfill her passion for fitness, health, and wellness through strength training. She found great joy in helping others feel strong and confident. Michelle also volunteered at the Maui Humane Society.

So not only did the fire destroy her home and belongings, but it also decimated her livelihood.

She’s looking to relocate and start anew on the island of O’ahu and return to Maui if/when it’s meant to be.

Michelle is a 54-year-old woman who prides herself on being very self-sufficient, confident, strong, and resourceful, but she knows she needs to ask for help. She is a selfless giver with a beautiful heart and soul and wouldn’t ask for help unless she really needed it.

Will you please consider being part of her recovery? Your contribution will be a blessing, for which Michelle and the entire Camina family will be forever grateful.

The funds raised here will be used for:
- Day-to-day basics
- Clothing (ranging from everything from undergarments to work attire)
- Shoes
- Toiletries and other bathroom essentials
- Maintenance of her car lease
- Relocation
- A new place to live
- Bed/other furniture
- Linens (Bedroom & Bathroom)
- Kitchen essentials, etc.

Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity. Your contribution will make a significant impact during this tremendously challenging time. It will allow Michelle to find her footing, regain her joy, and rebuild her beloved life in Hawaii.
