Help Camille Cox Gain Her Independence Again
Donation protected
Greetings Friends,
I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my mother, Camille Cox. Many of you know that my mom has been on quite a journey these past few years as she has learned how to navigate and adapt to life as a disabled individual. We have found two mobility aids that would greatly improve my mother's ability to get out and gain some independence!
Here's what mom has to say about these devices:
"The first is a lightweight, foldable, portable electric wheelchair that can be used as a regular wheelchair. This is a fantastic tool for me because of the different functions, and if I ever need it for future indoor use, I will be set. The second mobility aid is an outdoor scooter. Mom (Marcia) and I went to Senior Day at the Columbia County Fair. Mom and Dad borrowed a wheelchair for me to attend the fair, so we experienced the need firsthand. I definitely need a more hearty scooter for things like this.
I would be so grateful for any help you can provide to purchase both. If you have not been reading about my journey with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Hypermobility type, you may not know or realize that getting out of my home and getting to experience the fair is not something I have been able to do unassisted. I am ready for some independence!"
The Krenz/Whistler/Cox families want to thank each and every one of our friends and community members for your continued love, support, and prayers. We are thankful for any help with these purchases that you are able to give.
Thank you,
Emmelia Whistler, Camille's daughter
