My name is Caleb Harris and today is my 40th birthday.

In the weeks leading up to today, my friends and family began asking what I wanted as a gift to celebrate this milestone. The gift I want more than anything this year isn’t for me; it’s for others.

This year I want to put a dent in hunger.

I started volunteering with my son over a decade ago at a food pantry called the Lawrenceville Cooperative Ministry. As soon as my girls were old enough, I started taking them to volunteer with me too. We’ve seen hunger up close, and we’ve seen how empty the food pantry shelves get during the summer months when kids can no longer get free/reduced meals at school.

The ask?

Let’s fill up some of those empty shelves. Let’s make the dent in hunger a little larger by leveraging our collective generosity and doing good together. Let’s raise $4,000 between now and August 9th, which will go straight to the Lawrenceville Co-op’s account through GoFundMe.
