Help stop Calebs life threatening seizures.

This is Calebs fight against epilepsy. We are raising money to travel to New Jersey from the U.K. for life saving brain surgery.

Calebs seizures began overnight a week before his 4th birthday.

Day 1, he had around 20 seizures and increased as the weeks went by, until he was having around 40-60 seizures within 24 hour period.

We’ve tried over 14 different anti seizure medications, private prescription cannabis treatment and even ketogenic diet, unfortunately nothing has worked for Caleb.

Caleb has even been under Great Ormond Street Hospital but after months of extensive testing, they explained that Calebs epilepsy was so complex they couldn’t understand it and could not help with Calebs diagnosis or treatment.

In 2022 we arranged privately to travel to U.S.A to work with an amazing team lead by world renowned paediatric neurosurgeon Dr Luke Tomycz. After a month of invasive testing and 2 brain surgeries, Caleb had a dramatic reduction in seizures.

Unfortunately even with a huge reduction, Caleb is still having around 8-10 seizures each night which is still greatly affecting him and is still considered a high risk of sudden death from epilepsy.

A year later (2023) we have privately funded and travelled to Belgium and Birmingham to have one of the most advanced brain scans offered (MEG Scan) which has highlighted an area of interest which is believed to be causing Calebs seizures.

Dr Luke Tomycz believes that with further surgery to remove this area, Caleb could potentially be SEIZURE FREE!!!

Unfortunately this treatment is not being offered to us in the U.K. as they are not as advanced as the U.S.A so we hope to return to U.S.A in January 2024 to achieve the life Caleb deserves.

The surgery is going to take a lot of careful planning and more invasive brain monitoring which we’ve been advised will cost £120,000.

We’ve used all our savings up are now at the point where we need assistance from everyone who can help.
