Help Caitlin & Kids advocate for themselves

Hi, my name is Caitlin and in May of 2020 I found myself as a single mom to 3 children, 1 of which is special needs, after being a stay at home mom for 7 years.  I have spent the last almost year fighting tooth & nail to keep mine & my children's heads above water while facing hospitalizations for my eldest, inability to find stable work, facing evictions and having to move in less than 2 weeks.  I am currently working a part time job, juggling kids in daycares, online schooling, therapies and barely making ends meet.  I am trying so hard, but unfortunately am just not able to make it all come around full circle.

I have found myself in a position of having to completely max out my emergency credit cards to fund legal representation to protect myself and my children in my divorce.  I have attempted to do everything in my power to do most of my divorce without representation because I could not afford the cost but I have come to a crossroads where I no longer feel it is within my power to be able to move forward without being absolutely eaten alive.  

I absolutely hate to ask for help, I believe in hard work and doing all that you can, but when I say that I am working so hard to get there, I truly am.  I am asking for any little thing that you feel compelled to do.  All funds will be used to go toward legal fees as I am required to maintain a balance in my account with the attorney.  I have secured an attorney that believes in doing things as minimally as possible, however he also knows that it is going to be a fight.
