In the blink of an eye, Brittany’s life — and the life of her family — changed forever.

On Friday Oct 2 Brittany was simply crossing the street in a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a vehicle and dragged approximately 40 feet.

She is now in the hospital with devastating injuries, including a broken back, broken ribs, and multiple other serious injuries. She has a long road of healing and recovery ahead of her.

But Brittany isn't just someone who was in a terrible accident. She is a wife. She is a mom. She is the heart of her family.

Brittany and her husband have a 15-year-old son who means the world to them. Brittany is a stay-at-home mom who pours her heart into her family. She is always there for her son and his activities, always making sure her family is taken care of, and always finding ways to make their home feel like home.

Anyone who knows Brittany knows how much she loves cooking for her family. She is constantly trying new recipes, making things from scratch and sharing the delicious meals and creations she's made. Taking care of the people she loves is simply who she is.

Now, that family is facing something none of them could have imagined.

Brittany's husband is the sole breadwinner for their household, working for a roofing company. With Brittany in the hospital and facing what may be a long recovery, their family is suddenly dealing with an enormous amount of uncertainty — emotionally, physically and financially.

We are hoping to surround this family with the same love and care that Brittany has always given to the people around her.

Funds raised will help with everyday household expenses, transportation, meals, medical and recovery-related expenses, and the many unexpected costs that can come with a serious accident and lengthy recovery.

Most importantly, this fundraiser will allow Brittany and her family to concentrate on what matters most right now: Brittany healing and their family being together.
