Help Bring Nicoli Wynne Safely Home

Donation protected
We are desperately seeking your help to help Nicoli Wynne, safely home from Cambodia after he suffered a severe psychiatric emergency. Nicoli is currently experiencing acute psychosis and requires immediate, specialized medical repatriation and long-term psychiatric care that is not available to him overseas. We are launching this campaign to cover the critical costs required to save his life and ensure his safety.

Nicoli traveled to Asia to teach English to underprivileged native children in June. The last time Nicoli was in contact with friends or family was on November 1st. After a traumatic event that left him with no phone, passport, wallet, etc. (that we still do not have full clarity on) Nicoli is currently unaware of reality and approached the American Embassy in Cambodia for help, unfortunately he could not receive the help he needed there as they can not legally detain him and he wandered off. He was found 2 weeks later through the efforts of Amazing people of Cambodia's Ex-Pat community. They have been keeping track of his location and keeping him out of trouble as well as the occasional food or drink when he has a moment of mental clarity to accept it. Otherwise, his current condition does not allow him to interact with foreign objects handed to him, likely a result of the trauma he suffered.

Our goal today will cover medical expenses to address Nicoli's injuries with proper treatment, as well as psychiatric help to fully assess his mental state so we can begin treatment to get him back to the Nicoli we all know and love. We also need to cover transportation costs out of the country because of the condition he is in and his inability to keep focus right now, he has exhausted the Embassy's resources allocated to the situation. Due to the fact that Nicoli is an Air Force Veteran and received government loans to help him leave the country and he wandered off both times due to his mental health, there is nothing the embassy can do at this point. This leaves us with the burden of covering his plane tickets with the medical care both in Cambodia and in transit to the U.S as he will need medical repatriation (the process of a trained medical profession assisting him during transportation). We will need to cover the costs of the plane ticket for Nicoli and the medical professional assisting him.

Due to the severity of the situation and the time that it took to find him, his visa is about to expire (11/19/2025) so he is going to also have to go through the deportation process. In his state, spending 8 weeks in a Cambodian detention center is extremely detrimental to his health, effectively making the wounds he has unable to heal while possibly agitating medical issues. The injuries we know of include - an infected burn on his shoulder, issue with ankle resulting in limp and visibly swollen, toe is also wrapped.

Every dollar donated brings Nicoli one step closer to safe passage and the treatment he desperately needs.
  • Donate: Even the smallest amount makes a difference.
  • Share: Please share this campaign with your family, friends, and social networks. The more eyes on this, the faster we can reach our goal.
  • Pray/Send Support: Please keep Nicoli in your thoughts as he goes through this crisis.

We promise to provide regular updates on his condition and the repatriation progress. Thank you from the bottom our hearts for your kindness and generosity during this terrifying time.
