Help Bradli Jo fight cancer
Donation protected
Our dear friend Bradli Jo recently went in for what was expected to be a precautionary mammogram. She was getting a small lump evaluated, strictly for principle.
On February 18th 2022, her world was flipped upside down. As she sat with the radiologist shorty after completing the routine mammogram, she was given the heartbreaking news that “she needed to prepare for a diagnosis of cancer.”
Biopsies were scheduled to confirm the nature of the mass, and on February 24th 2 biopsies became 7, and confirmed a diagnosis of at least Grade 3 Infiltrative Mammary Carcinoma. Just a week later, her MRI results revealed this already aggressive cancer had metastasized to several lymph nodes. She recently completed a PET-CT scan to rule out additional organ system involvement with results pending.
At the young age of 35 years old, she is now living the unimaginable.
Bradli Jo is the sole provider for her two beautiful girls, ages 12 and 9. They are her world, and the fear of not being able to provide for her children is a burden she shouldn’t have to carry during this time.
Thus far, pending *hopefully* a negative PET-CT scan result (3/7/22) the suggested treatment plan laid out for Bradli Jo is extremely aggressive. Current recommendations will have her undergo 4 months straight of intense chemotherapy with hopes to eradicate the cancer cells and shrink the masses before she receives a mastectomy. Post-op, she is to undergo radiation and medically induced menopause (with the possibility of a hysterectomy on top of everything else).
IF the PET-CT scan shows further metastatic disease, her prognosis will be quite grim and treatment will likely be medically induced menopause and comfort measures.
As you can imagine the medical bills are already, and will continue to pile up. Procedures, chemo, imaging, radiation, etc.
Initially, she’s investigating some alternative medical therapy in Mexico to help boost her immune system if nothing else. Any financial help that can be given to Bradli Jo to help ease the stress in this difficult time is much appreciated.
Bradli Jo is a lover and a fighter, and we know she is going to fight like hell to stay alive. Any support to help her light keep glowing for her kids and for all of those whose lives she’s touched would be forever appreciated.
