On October 6th, my nephew Luke was rushed to the emergency room after showing signs something wasn't right. After several tests, doctors discovered a tumor on his brain and 30% fluid retention. Within hours, our world was turned upside down.

After a 16-hour surgery, doctors successfully removed the tumor- which was about the size of a plum. They shared that they were amazed Luke was alive and not brain dead, given the severity of his condition. Our miracle boy fought through what no one could ever imagine enduring at his age.

Luke celebrated his 1st Birthday on October 17th from his hospital bed, continuing to recover under close care. His recovery has been nothing short of incredible, and with many prayers, love, and support, he continues to make progress each day.

As you can imagine, this unexpected medical emergency has placed a tremendous financial strain on the family. Luke's parents, my sister and brother-in-law, have not been able to work while staying by his side in the hospital. Medical bills and household expenses continue to grow.
