Hi, my name is Sumara Diaz and I am reaching out on behalf of our entire family in support for our 17 year old daughter/sister Arianna Diaz. Arianna is bravely fighting a rare cancerous brain tumor that was diagnosed this summer.

At the time of her diagnosis, she underwent emergency brain surgery to relieve pressure building in her brain. Then on September 3rd, Arianna went through major brain surgery to remove the tumour. Now the next step is critical — she will need a specialized Proton Radiation Therapy that will give her the best chance at recovery while protecting her brain. This treatment will require travel out of Country for Arianna and her parents. 

Arianna’s radiation has to begin within 50 to 60 days of her surgery. It will be an intensive schedule — five days a week of treatment, for six weeks.

We appreciate any support you can provide to help with travel, accommodations and maintaining household expenses (I myself will have to take an unpaid leave of absence) so we as her parents/ family, can focus on what matters most — Arianna’s healing.
