Help Angel with Stroke Rehabilitation
Donation protected
On Saturday, February 19, 2022, 34 year old Angel Reyes was getting ready for his son's soccer game, when he began having difficulty using his left arm. His wife noticed he was unable to dress and his left face was droopy. She called 911 and Angel was taken to a San Antonio Stroke Center, where he was found to have a large brain bleed. Angel was moved to the ICU and was completely paralyzed on his entire left side. Neurosurgeons operated the next morning and were able to remove the blood from his brain, but significant damage remains. Angel has improved and is now able to eat and drink, but he has a long road of recovery ahead of him, as he learns how to do the most basic skills again.
Angel is a married to Tatiana, who is a stay-at-home mother to their four young children. Angel works as a Project Manager for a Roofing Company, but he is unfortunately uninsured. While he's gotten tremendous support from his employer, the expenses associated with the loss of the family's only income, exorbitant medical expenses already accumulated and years of rehabilitation, medical expenses and modifications to their home, the number will be staggering. They are a family of deep faith and have surrounded Angel with so much love and support, but the reality is that they need financial support.
I am the ER Nurse who took care of Angel and his special circumstances touched my heart. I lost my own daughter to a brain bleed and many of our friends came together to help her children secure a bright future. Won't you do the same for Angel and Tatiana? Any donation, large or small, are greatly appreciated.
