My sister Alexis Jenner never imagined she would be in a position where she needed to ask for help—but here she is, and she is incredibly grateful for every bit of support.
She was diagnosed with stage 3A endometrial cancer, which had metastasized from her uterus to her ovaries. Since her diagnosis, she has faced one of the hardest battles of her life. She underwent a hysterectomy followed by chemotherapy, all while continuing to do what she has always done—care for others.
She is a nurse, and even during chemo treatments, she continued to work in the neuro ICU. Helping others has always been her passion, and she pushed herself to keep going despite the physical and emotional toll cancer took on her body.
She recently completed her final chemotherapy treatment, which felt like a huge victory. Unfortunately, her journey took another unexpected turn. Due to bone weakness caused by cancer and treatment, she suffered a severe injury and broke her ankle in three places. She underwent surgery on Christmas Eve and now has a long recovery period, during which she is unable to work. While also having to continue her immunotherapy, which completely wipes her body out, and getting scans to make sure her cancer has not spread.
Due to this major setback, she will not be able to continue what she loves, taking care of patients, which can be up to 9 months. This will be creating a significant financial strain. Between medical bills, surgery costs, recovery expenses, and everyday living needs, the stress has become overwhelming at a time when her body needs rest and healing.
How Your Support Helps:
Donations will go toward:
* Medical and surgical expenses
* Physical therapy and recovery needs
* Basic living expenses while she is unable to work
* Ongoing cancer-related costs
Any amount—no matter how small—means more than she can express. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page or keeping her in your thoughts and prayers is just as appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read her story and for supporting her during this incredibly challenging chapter. Your kindness gives her strength and hope as she focuses on healing and moving forward.
With gratitude, Alexis’s Family
