This fundraiser was created out of the desire not to remain indifferent to deeply unjust realities.

In many parts of Africa, childhood is not protected. It is stolen.

Children grow up forced to become adults far too soon — leaving school, working to survive, caring for siblings, and carrying responsibilities that no child should ever have to bear. Not because they lack ambition or effort, but because poverty, illness, and instability leave them with no choice.

In places like the Democratic Republic of Congo, this reality is intensified by one of the most devastating and forgotten wars in the world. Entire communities have been destroyed. Millions are displaced. Children grow up surrounded by fear, hunger, and trauma. Sexual violence is systematically used as a weapon of war. For many, survival is the only daily objective.

Niños y niñas crecen obligados a convertirse en adultos demasiado pronto: dejando la escuela, trabajando para sobrevivir, cuidando de sus hermanos y cargando con responsabilidades que ningún menor debería asumir. No porque les falte esfuerzo o ganas, sino porque la pobreza, la enfermedad y la inestabilidad no les dejan otra opción.

En lugares como la República Democrática del Congo, esta realidad se agrava por una de las guerras más devastadoras y olvidadas del mundo. Comunidades enteras han sido destruidas. Millones de personas viven desplazadas. Los niños crecen rodeados de miedo, hambre y trauma. Las violaciones y abuso sexual se utilizan de forma sistemática como arma de guerra. This fundraiser is not abstract. It supports real people and real projects, facing urgent and concrete needs in Congo, Rwanda and Uganda.

Where the funds will go:

All funds raised will be distributed equally (25% each) among the following four beneficiaries:

25% – Focus Congo: War victims and displaced communities.

Focus Congo works directly with refugees, displaced families, children, and survivors of extreme violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In a conflict where women’s and girls’ bodies are used as weapons of war, their work provides essential support, protection, and care to those who have lost everything.

25% – Eric

A teenager who was forced to drop out of school in order to work and support his family. Both parents are seriously ill, and he is now responsible for his younger siblings.

This is not a story of “dropping out” — it is a story of sacrifice for survival. This support will allow him to return to education, something that should never have been taken away from him.

25% – Christopher

A father who urgently needs a vehicle in order to work. Without it, there is no income. Without income, there is no food, no schooling, no stability.

This contribution is not charity — it is a basic tool for dignity, autonomy, and survival.

25% – Grace Villa Kabale: girls in extreme vulnerability.

Grace Villa Kabare supports girls who are exposed to extreme poverty, neglect, and violence. Without protection, many face forced labor, early marriage, or lifelong exclusion from education.

The foundation provides food, clothing, education, and training, offering these girls something radically rare: a real chance at a future.

Destino de los fondos

El 100 % del dinero recaudado se repartirá a partes iguales (25 % cada uno) entre los siguientes cuatro beneficiarios:

25 % – Focus Congo: víctimas de la guerra y comunidades desplazadas

Focus Congo trabaja directamente con refugiados, familias desplazadas, niños y supervivientes de violencia extrema en la República Democrática del Congo. En un conflicto donde los cuerpos de mujeres y niñas se utilizan como armas de guerra, su labor proporciona apoyo, protección y cuidado a quienes lo han perdido absolutamente todo.

25 % – Eric

Un adolescente que se vio obligado a abandonar la escuela para trabajar y sostener a su familia. Sus padres están gravemente enfermos y él es ahora responsable de sus hermanos pequeños. Esto no es una historia de “abandono escolar”, es una historia de sacrificio para sobrevivir. Este apoyo le permitirá retomar sus estudios, algo que nunca debería haberle sido arrebatado.

25 % – Christopher

Padre de familia que necesita urgentemente un vehículo para poder trabajar. Sin él no hay ingresos. Sin ingresos no hay comida, ni escolarización, ni estabilidad. Esta aportación no es caridad: es una herramienta básica para la dignidad, la autonomía y la supervivencia.

25 % – Grace Villa Kabale: niñas en situación de extrema vulnerabilidad

Grace Villa Kabare acompaña a niñas expuestas a pobreza extrema, abandono y violencia. Sin protección, muchas de ellas se enfrentan al trabajo forzado, matrimonios precoces o a quedar excluidas del sistema educativo para siempre. La fundación les ofrece alimento, ropa, educación y formación, brindándoles algo extraordinariamente raro: una oportunidad real de futuro.

I act only as the organizer and intermediary of this fundraiser. I am not a beneficiary: 100% of the funds raised will be transferred to the individuals and organizations listed above, respecting the exact percentages described.

This is not about “helping a little”, it is about interrupting a cycle of violence, abandonment, and structural injustice.

If you are reading this, you are already closer than most.
