Help a Single Mother and Her Child Battling Leukemia

We at the Multicultural Community Center located in Rantoul, IL are reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for help. One of our beloved students, a 10-year-old child, has recently been diagnosed with leukemia and is currently undergoing treatment at a children’s hospital in Peoria. This brave child is facing a challenging journey, and their family needs our collective support now more than ever.

The child has two younger siblings—a seven-year-old and a three-year-old. Their devoted mother, who is raising them alone, has had to make the difficult decision to leave her job in order to be with her sick child at the hospital. This has placed an overwhelming financial burden on the single mother, as she struggle to cover bills and rent.

Your generous donations, no matter the size, will make a significant impact. Additionally, your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated as they provide much-needed comfort and strength to the family.
