Help a Mother and Six Children Start Over After House Fire
Donation protected
Last night, tragedy struck our neighborhood when a devastating fire tore through the home of my neighbor—a mother and her six children. Though they made it out safely, the home has been declared uninhabitable, and nearly all of their belongings were lost. With just moments to escape, they are now facing the unimaginable: the total loss of their home and the urgent need to start over.
This family has already endured more hardship than many. And through it all, their mom has carried on with quiet strength and generosity—always helping others without ever asking for anything in return. She’s the kind of neighbor who’s brought my child a popsicle in the summer, oiled the chain on my son’s bike, and mowed our lawn just because she was already out there—never for praise, simply out of kindness. Now, she is the one who needs help.
This fundraiser will go toward immediate needs: temporary housing, food, clothing, toiletries, and other essentials. It will also help support the family as they begin the difficult process of finding stability and rebuilding their lives.
If you’re able to give, please know that no amount is too small. And if you feel moved to share a few kind words, your compassion will be felt and appreciated more than you know.
We understand how heavy the world can feel at times, and how many are carrying struggles of their own. But even so, we hope this mother and her children can feel the strength of a community that refuses to let them face this alone.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for helping this family take the first steps toward healing and hope.
