Hello everyone, my name is Pearl, and I created this GoFundMe on behalf of a dear friend who is currently walking through an incredibly difficult season — yet doing so with remarkable faith and strength.

She is a devoted mother of three: two teens and a sweet 9-year-old daughter. Despite her best efforts, she is facing an overwhelming storm. Currently, they are without a permanent place to live and have no reliable transportation. She and her girls are staying in a hotel, doing all they can to keep going while she works to rebuild her credit and reestablish stability.

Her credit was severely impacted after being laid off during a tough stretch — a hardship compounded by recent changes in student loan policy. When her car broke down last year, she couldn’t afford the repairs, and it was eventually impounded. Since then, she has been without a vehicle — making everything from school runs to job interviews nearly impossible.

Even though most of her income now goes toward hotel expenses, she never complains. She’s fighting to stay afloat. And still — still — she shows up. She’s been a quiet pillar in her church community, offering support to other women even while carrying her own burdens in silence.
