Heddon Valley Defibrillator Fundraiser

Heddon Valley Defibrillator Fundraiser

Whether you are a visitor to, or resident of, the National Trust's beautiful Heddon Valley within the Exmoor National Park, you will be aware of its remote location and the many outdoor and sometimes extreme pursuits taking place.  For these reasons and in collaboration with the National Trust and the iconic Hunter's Inn, I am raising funds to pay for the installation and upkeep of a public access defibrillator.

This Saturday 12 June at 0905, as part of the Endurance Life challenge, I will be running a half marathon across punishing terrain including an ascent of 4199ft (639ft higher than Snowdon!) and would welcome any donations towards this essential cause that may affect any one of us at any time.

At the age of 40-something, I have achieved 4 marathons over flat terrain, therefore this half marathon will be by far my biggest challenge yet because of the terrain.

Your support will help push me on to the finish line rather than stopping for a rest at Hunter's Inn after about 10 miles!
