A farewell for our sweet Hector Monserratte

Oh dear Hector, I’m sitting here crying and still in disbelief that I’m starting a GoFundMe for your funeral services. I had one last opportunity to tell you I love you and it will forever be embedded in my mind and heart. You left such an imprint in so many lives and in our world that your spirit will forever be remembered.

Our sweet friend Hector left us on December 28th. He passed peacefully in his sleep of natural causes. There’s no doubt he loved life and enjoyed every moment he could. He was one of the friendliest humans anyone could meet. Not a mean bone in his body. He was giving, caring, selfless, kind and loving. Hector had adventure engraved into him and that’s exactly how he lived his life.

The family has not asked for anything other than pictures, videos and stories of their beloved Hector but I think Hector deserves to see how much the world and his friends loved him. I know he is looking over my shoulder enjoying all the love everyone is sharing about him. We do not have any funeral service details at this time but we ask that you please contribute to his memorial by continuing to post your pictures, stories, and if you can, a monetary contribution to his family for the expenses this unexpected tragedy will bring.
