Heber Bernal's Education Fund
Donation protected
This is a message from one of my mission companions from the Dominican Republic. He is looking for help for his education fund. Thank you for your consideration.
"My name is Heber Bernal. I am from Mexico and I have been studying English in Provo Utah at ELC (English Language Center) for almost a year as an international student. Due to this fact, all my savings have been spent in my studies.
I had to take two different tests. The first one was the TOEFL, a test to measure my English proficiency. I was able to pass this test to be accepted into any university. The second test was the ACT which I also did well on. Therefore, I applied for different universities, and I got accepted at BYU-Idaho.
However, I don't have enough money to extend my visa, so I cannot keep studying. For this precise reason I am looking for help because BYU-Idaho requires a deposit of $4,000 dollars in order to extend my visa as an international student. I need this amount to keep studying because if I don't have this money, I won't be able to study anymore in the United States.
My goal is to become a mechanical engineer, and the only way to accomplish that is to get this amount of money. I appreciate your help!
Thank you"
