Heather Lynn Faulk McKay Memorial Fund

Donation protected

Heather Lynn Faulk McKay (50) went home to be with Jesus on the late evening of April 23rd 2021, after a 15 month long battle with stage 4 Endometrial cancer. The Lord seen how faithful she was in trusting in him and he said well done you good and faithful servant and gave her rest.  During her fight with this dreadful disease she has shown the ultimate strength and her faith in God has never wavered. It was through this battle that she only grew stronger in her faith with God. She leaves behind her whole heart,  her son, Gabriel McKay who she loved more than anything in this world and to quote her as she always would say, " Love Him More Than Forever". She also leaves behind her 3 older sisters and 2 big brothers as well as so many other family members and so many others that so dearly loved her. This fund is to help her family give Heather the memorial that she deserves and to honor her memory.

Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.

After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.

This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."

He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."

- The Lord carried our sweet Heather home on April 23rd 2021. We love you so much and we will see you again in Heaven someday.
