Hey everyone! Thank you so much for all your prayers and financial support that helped get me to New Zealand! It has been such a life-changing experience, and it has been so amazing to get the opportunity to grow in the Lord, the community here, and more in who He’s called me to be! As you know, this journey had a turn of events we did not foresee. Due to COVID-19, we did not get to go on outreach to put to use everything we’ve learned, which was hard! As always, the Lord proved faithful and led each of us to where we’re supposed to be for such a time as this! I have committed to a year of staffing in faith, as I believe that’s what the Lord is calling me to do and received my official approval to do so! As the July school I was planning on staffing will not be running, I had some praying to do for what the Lord has for me for this quarter! After praying I believe Registrar in the mornings and Community Outreach in the afternoon is where I'm called to be! In Registrar we will be walking the future students through the application process, praying for them, and help guide them through the journey to get here. In Community Outreach we will be focusing on building relationships with the church's here in NZ. God-willing I do plan on staffing either the October or January school as well, where we disciple the students and walk with them on their journey. We are entering a new season in YWAM, and, given the state of the world, the schools will look different. I believe the Lord is going to work in a big way through this time! As hard as it is for me to be away from home during this time, I know the Lord has a beautiful purpose in it! When I asked the Lord for a scripture to stand on for this season, I saw a picture of a rainbow and the words Hebrews 6:10 which is: “For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do” and verses 11-12 go on to say: “And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” I’m standing in that truth as I head into this new season. I would be honored if you considered sowing into this ministry and the students I will be serving through your finances and prayer. The financial support will go towards living expenses for the year (rent, food, laundry), and travel expenses (visa, outreach costs etc.). I’m praying that as I walk out in faith, all the blessings will overflow to you all!
